THIERRY LEFORT
Biography
THIERRY LEFORT, 1967-
Thierry Lefort was born in Paris in 1967. He started to draw at the age of 12, and he rapidly developed his own techniques for illustrating the forms he perceived around him.
Lefort states he is mainly influenced by Paul Cézanne, but interestingly he shows his appreciation of this artist’s palate in the reinterpretations of cityscapes of Paris, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
In 2022, Lefort’s works were exhibited at the Château de Sannes near Marseille, in Paris and at the Galerie Sweeney in Bordeaux, which was particularly appreciated as this was the first time that his paintings and works on paper had been shown in the southwest.
Thanks to Yoyo Maeght who lends constant support to Thierry Lefort, limited-edition prints of his works are available in Paris and in Bordeaux.
Another print will soon be available in 2023, which was created in conjunction with the Burbank fresco project in California.
